Amazon.com Review

You'll love being able to look through the tempered glass lids to monitor cooking progress. With non-stick cookware you choose how much additional fat or oil you'll add to your recipe. Heavy gauge anodized aluminum assures you a lifetime of impressive service. By purchasing a set you get this fine cookware at the best possible price and all the pieces you may ever need.
Harder than steel and coated inside with DuPont's exceptionally durable, three-layer Autograph nonstick, the pots and pans in this 12-piece set outfit a kitchen with cookware that's rugged enough for everyday use and looks great on the stovetop or in open storage. Made of hard-anodized aluminum, the pots and pans heat quickly and evenly without hot spots, resist scratching and denting, and are oven-safe to 500 degrees F. Hollow, 18/10 stainless-steel handles polished to a mirror finish stay cool on the stove and are riveted for durability. Handles and rims on tempered-glass lids match the handles in looks and permit cooking to be monitored without releasing heat.

The set consists of 2-quart and 3-quart saucepans with lids; a 4-quart saucepot with lid; a 5-quart sauté pan with lid; an 8-quart stockpot with lid; a 4-quart stainless-steel steamer insert; and a 10-inch skillet. Anolon Professional cookware carries a lifetime warranty against defects, and lids are guaranteed against breakage for a lifetime. --Fred Brack

"Anolon Cookware Set" 2010-04-28

These pans are excellent cookware, look great, and are extremely durable. The one down side is that they are heavy. I definately recommend them, though.

"Perfectly pleased" 2010-03-15
By M. E. Boldt (Arcade, NY United States)
I purchased this set a little over two years ago for my wife and she has been completely thrilled. The price is exceptional for a set of this quality. Up until we bought these, we had been getting by with the remnants of a Farberware set received as a gift more than 20 years ago, plus some odds and ends. My wife didn't realize what she had been missing! She uses one or more of these pans every day, always is careful to hand wash them, and the nonstick surfaces still look like new.
The only unfortunate thing is we (apparently) can't buy additional or replacement pieces that exactly match (the 2 qt saucepan got dropped on the stone tile floor in our kitchen and has a slightly bent edge). Otherwise, no complaints ... only high recommendations.

"Hot to Handle" 2010-01-28
By Kevin Ledoux (Mapleleaf, Seattle, WA United States)
The overall value on this set is outstanding. Non-stick on the pots is holding up well after a full year's use but the frying pan is another story. The non-stick isn't peeling off yet but it is a lot less effective than it was when it arrived. This can easily be amended by enough oil, so we cope.
My real gripe about this set is the handles on the lids. They get very hot. Enough so that they cannot be picked up by hand. I have other glass lids that use the smallest plastic insulators with great success, but with these you might as well just pick up the lid by it's edge. I have a feeling that this is the main reason for the extreme price reduction.
If you're OK with always using a pot holder I say go for it.

"Nonstick wears out unfortunately" 2010-01-17
By Inside9 (Sebastopol,CA)
These pans were billed as "professional". Unfortunately, if used as a pro might use them, that is on a regular basis, the "autograph" nonstick will lose its effectiveness in less than three years. I plan on trying to take my piece back or send it back to Meyer. I will report back on the response. Its too bad, because I really liked the pan, but who knows maybe the latest "autograph" is a bit better.

"Too Hot To Handle" 2010-01-10
By California (California)
The pot handles collect heat from adjacent burners and the ingredients. Perhaps because they are hollow, being rolled from thin sheet metal. The nice polished finish on the handles are slippery when there is anything on your hands or splatter from ingredients. We "live" in our kitchen and expect more from a cooking set. Sorry, but these are going back. Now what?
