It's a tea pot! I filled it with water, put it on the stove and in a few minutes it whistled. Attractive design which looks good on the stove. What more could I ask for at such a reasonable price?

This kettle whistles perfectly and so far it's holding up great. The handle gets hot but I can hold it long enough to pour the water without feeling like I'm getting burned.

You can spend five times as much for a tea kettle, but this one does exactly the same thing as the higher-priced models -- it boils water. It also looks good and the spout trigger is very easy and convenient to use.
