I bought this kettle in cobalt blue for my daughter on April 8, 2010 ... the enamel is coming off the kettle!!!
Not OK!!!

Like this Kettle very much. Heats very quickly on very low heat setting. It also looks very nice. Highly recommend.

This teakettle was everything I wanted! I get ridiculously specific ideas in my head of what I want and I wanted a pretty orange teakettle. It's got a nice shape, a handle that stays cool and the color is to DIE for. HOWEVER, the surface came marred (not grossly) a couple of little scratches, a couple of small spots that look like steel wool got to it, minor really, but I bought it specifically because of the finish. What's irritating is that Amazon had one listed as scratched at half the price AND free shipping. If I had known the surface wasn't going to be perfect I would have gone ahead and saved a bunch of money!
It looks AMAZING on my stove though!

This tea kettle is the bees knees. It's fun to look at, it whistles loud so I can hear it while I'm getting ready, and it's well made. Would definitely recommend this tea kettle.

This is absolutely adorable! The color is a
bold cranberry metallic. It looks very nice
on any color stove. I leave it there as a
decoration. It cleans up great. Whistle is
not loud whatsoever. You don't have to use
the whistle mechanism if you choose.
Would recommend to anyone who is looking
for a durable, yet sharp looking tea kettle.
