I have been using this thing for a week. Just now I found the lid broke in half. It was standing on a trivet, without anything in it, on the kitchen table, and without anything around it. It just broke by itself for no obvious reasons.

This is a great little tea pot that holds enough water for about 4 cups of tea. It brews great tasting tea and is suprizingly sturdy. I am very happy with this purchase and enjoy using this teapot daily!

This lovely teapot is exactly what I envisioned the ideal glass teapot would be. It scores highly on all the features I was looking for: quality, practicality, functionality and beauty. So often something that is aesthetically pleasing does not deliver, but this teapot definitely delivers on its promise and more. One of the ways I enjoy using it most is to steep fresh herbs: place fresh herbs (e.g., mint, tarragon, etc.) into the infuser, pour hot water into the infuser, and let steep for a few minutes. This teapot elevates the tea drinking experience! I highly recommend the Glasgow teapot and would not hesitate to purchase any of the other products offered by this manufacturer.

This is such a cute teapot/ infuser. Love that it's glass, so my tea doesn't have that nasty metal taste (blah#. It didn't come with temp setting instructions, but I set my stove on Medium. Please treat with care #duh, it's glass) :-P
