I love this pressure cooker! I would have given it five stars except the first one had electronic problems and I had to send it back. The customer service was excellant,tne item was replaced quickly, and the return was very simple. I was very impressed with Amazon's customer service. Thank you!

Pressure cooker works as advertised. Only issue is capacity. We had an 8qt electric pressure cooker but the inner pot began peeling and we had to replace it. The new one is only 6qt in size and it doesn't allow us to put in the same amount of meat to feed our family of six. We hear rumors that QVC is going to sell an 8qt version this fall. The Denis pressure cooker is 8qt but is has terrible reviews from people that purchased it.

I have had this product for 6 months now. The first meal I prepared came out wonderful. Ever since then the unit shuts down as soon as it reaches pressure. The manual is useless and don't even bother with Cuisinart customer service. They are a joke! I emailed and it took a month for them to get back to me by phone. They had no useful suggestions. I regret wasting money on it.

i like how sturdy and safe the product is, and very simple to use.
it would be nice if it had a steam setting too, and a steamer basket, and if there was measurement lines inside the pot for making rice like rice cookers have. also it would be nice if the pot didn't spin around when u mix things up in there. for the price, a delay timer would be great too.
