Have used these for years. No problems. Bought these because you get 4 bowls for good price - cheaper than ordering separately or in other combinations.
For those who obsess on the lids, keep in mind that you do not need the plastic lids. If you want to cover a bowl, choose the bowl that is one size smaller , flip it over and put it on top of the larger bow. The bowl is both covered and can contain more than with the plastic lid!
For example, to cover the 4 quart bowl, take the 2.5 quart bowl, flip it over and put it on top the 4 quart bowl.

The bowls are great, of course, they're made by Pyrex. I love that they come with lids. They aren't really storing containers, liquid is able to come out even with the tops on, but overall they are great, and I love that you can store them but putting them in one another.
